MS Leadership Academy Goals
Cadets who attend the MSLA will find that the instruction will greatly help them when performing leadership roles at their home squadrons and at other CAP activities. Serving on Encampment staff provides a perfect opportunity for cadets to practice the lessons learned from the MSLA.
Cadets who intend on applying for Encampment staff are highly encouraged to attend the MSLA in order to begin developing their leadership abilities. You will learn the lessons needed to serve at any CAP event.
Who should attend Mississippi Wing Leadership Academy (MSLA)?
● Any cadet who is a current member of CAP and who has been promoted to Cadet Senior Airman C/SrA, Achievement 3 and above.
● Any cadet who would like to improve their leadership capabilities.
● Any cadet who would like to go to encampment as Cadre.
● Any senior member who is a current member of CAP and takes pride in developing cadets into incredible adults.
MSLA Dates & Application Links
Arrive Friday evening between 6pm and 8pm. Graduation is Sunday at 11am.

Cadets who paid for the January MSLA that was cancelled due to weather and cannot attend this rescheduled event, please email Cadet Activities (cadetactivities@mswg.cap.gov) with a copy of the payment.
