Requirements to Attend Encampment

Mississippi Wing Encampment Attendance Requirements
    Items need to be completed or submitted by NLT 10 June 2024

Requirements for all attendees

• Active Member in Good Standing

• Required forms: DD Form 1381, Asthma Action Form (if asthmatic)

• Payment (except for cadets waiting on CEAP approval and/or scholarship applications)

• Cadet Protection Basic Course (for cadets over 18 at the time of Encampment) 

Requirement for all Cadet Students

• Completed the Curry Award (Achievement 1) before the encampment’s start date

• Required forms: CAPF 163 and copy of Insurance Card

• All required packing list items

Requirements for all Cadet Cadre

• Participation in a minimum of 2 Cadre Training Weekends

• Required forms: CAPF 163 and copy of Insurance Card

• Basic Risk Management Course

• I-CUT Course and Practical

Requirements for all Senior Member Staff

• Basic Risk Management Course

• I-CUT Course and Practical

• Cadet Protection Basic and/or Advanced Course

• Level 1 of Professional Development

• Equal Opportunity Training

• Training Leaders of Cadet Basic and/or Intermediate

• CAP Driver’s License (preferred but optional)
