Requirements to Attend Encampment

Mississippi Wing Encampment Attendance Requirements
Items should be completed and/or submitted by 1 July 2026

Requirements for ALL Attendees

• Active Member in Good Standing

• Completion of Curry (Achievement 1) or Level 1 Professional Development (before encampment start date)

• Filled out Registration Zone application and paid in full. 

• All required packing list items

Requirements for ALL Cadets

• Payment (except for cadets with CEAP approval) 

• Cadet Protection Basic Course (for cadets over 18 at the time of Encampment) 

Requirement for all Members OVER 18

• Cadet Protection Basic Course (for cadets over 18 at the time of Encampment) 

Requirements for all Cadet Staff

• Basic Risk Management Course

• I-CUT Course (practical can be completed at encampment)

• "Required Staff Training" Course

Requirements for all Senior Member Staff

• Basic Risk Management Course

• Cadet Protection Basic and/or Advanced Course

• Equal Opportunity Training

• Training Leaders of Cadet Basic and/or Intermediate

• "Required Staff Training" Course

• CAP Driver’s License (preferred but optional)
