Wreaths Across America

Published on: 12/16/18

Another outstanding Wreaths Across America memorial at the Biloxi National Cemetery. Once again many thanks to all those throughout the MSWG that participated here and at National Cemeteries all across Mississippi.

My particular thanks go out to all the members, Seniors and Cadets alike, to SER-MS-048, SER-MS-72 and SER-MS-75 for their stellar participation. Our Cadets, as always, represented the Mississippi Wing of the Civil Air Patrol with honor and distinction.

The Color Guard from the Col Berta A Edge Composite was outstanding. The trumpet work of Cadet Major Andrew Crusan and his presentation of TAPS was as good as I have every heard.

The Wiggins Gateway Cadet Squadron and the Pine Belt Composite Squadron was in full force and helped mightily with the distribution of the 680 wreaths that were placed on Saturday. Lt Col’s Warner and McClellan even got a chance to interview with the local TV…WLOX.

I thank you and the Veterans and their families thank you!

Semper vigilans!
